Deforestation, land use changes, and industrial agriculture have hobbled the Earth’s carbon cycle. While soil isn’t as sexy as a Tesla, restoring the planet’s natural ability to store carbon by letting soil, plants, and forests do their thing is not only cheaper than high-tech solutions, it benefits wild creatures and places at the same time.
