Fukushima Update #70 – November 7, 2011
An excellent video on the testing situation in both Japan and the US on Fukushima airborne radiation spread.
A knowledgeable and rational assessment of what we are facing by someone who is involved in the testing himself.
Highly recommended 26 minute video:

This very sad story is also of import as the effect of the Fukushima disaster on young Japanese kindergarten children in a city in Fukushima Prefecture is quite profound: almost a 75% reduction in year over year growth rate.
Smaller increase in children's weight in Fukushima
Doctor Shintaro Kikuchi tracked the weights of 245 children aged from 4 to 6 in 2 kindergartens in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture.
The results show an average weight increase of 0.81 kilograms over the past year through June. The increase for children in the same age group the previous year was 3.1 kilograms.
