Those CF-18s

I wish Justin Trudeau would stop apologizing for that wisecrack he made about Harper’s foreign policy — the one that foreign policy should be more than just “whipping out our CF-18s to show how big they are.I think Justin was dead on – our war-mongering Prime Minister, who likes to look so serious, (with nary a hair out of place EVER) is just a fundamentalist macho wanna-be.  And everytime the Conservatives — all those white men in suits who won’t be doing the dying — get oh-so-sanctimonious about that comment, I have a secret sigh of relief and a bit of a giggle, that SOMEONE spoke the truth about Harper’s unending crusade.
