Demo: Gas from BC Leg captured for power

“It was so obvious that we didn’t notice, until now,” said BC’s Minister of Energy, Bill Bennett. “We’ve put ten million dollars in the budget this year to investigate harnessing the gas emissions from the BC Legislature as an energy source. It’s renewable, no drilling or fracking is required, and apparently the members of the legislative assembly are fecund producers of methane.”

The Minister indicated that the gas would be used locally, in government buildings for heat and power.
